Recently, I had the opportunity to lead an online training session titled «Effective Methods for Media Work on Social Networks», organized by the regional hub of the Institute of Mass Information, «MediaBase Chernihiv». During the session, we explored the trends and tools shaping social media strategies for 2025.
The focus was on the evolving landscape of platforms like Instagram and Facebook. For Instagram, interactive formats like Reels, Stories, and carousels are gaining traction. I emphasized the importance of «real-time» content, such as user-generated posts and live updates, which foster deeper audience engagement. Similarly, in Facebook, captioned videos, alongside stories and text posts, remain powerful tools for connecting with diverse audiences.
Another key point of the training was the role of audience interaction. Whether through engaging with comments, conducting polls, or integrating user suggestions into content creation, this approach significantly strengthens community ties. Additionally, Telegram continues to offer unique opportunities for media, including voice notes and live video sessions, which shouldn’t be overlooked.
